The Oxbow Pants are a cool departure from a traditional pair of jeans. They were designed for rigid, non-stretch 10 - 13 oz denim fabrics, however, you can sew them up in twill, corduroy or canvas for a completely different look. There are two views to choose from and both views feature a high rise, curved waistband, front and back patch pockets, back darts, zipper fly and large button closure.
View A is fitted through the waist, hips and upper thighs. They are narrower at the knees than view B. The pants are cropped with a very slight flare and deep hem. The waistband features an extended tab and button closure.
View B is fitted through the waist and hips with full length straight, semi-wide legs. The waistband is flush at the center front with a button closure.

Fabrics, Sundries & Measurements
Fabrics: 
Bottom weight non-stretch fabrics in the 10 - 13 oz range such as bull denim, denim, twill, corduroy and canvas.
Sundries: Thread, topstitching thread (optional), metal zipper (see sizes below), 1" (25.4mm) - 1.25" (31.9mm) button (1), light-weight fusible interfacing, 1/4” or 1/2” wide double sided fusible tape for attaching waistband (optional), Fray Check for belt carrier ends (optional).
Tools: Size 100/16 or 110/18 jeans needle, fabric scissors, iron & ironing board, straight pins, tailor’s chalk. Hump jumper, tailor’s clapper, hammer and anvil tools (optional) for aiding in sewing with bulky layers.
