This is the boho fabric of your dreams. Make a gauzy top or dress but it could also be beautiful curtains. This fabric gets more gauzy and crinkled after washing (see before and after photos). Note that the width shrinks as well.

This is a "deadstock" fabric meaning that it was left over from a design house or fabric mill and sold to a jobber before it reached our hands. Often the content of deadstock fabrics isn't known for certain but is a best educated guess after conducting a burn test, feeling and inspecting the fabric.

Width: 58" before washing, 46" after washing. Shrinks in the wash and becomes more crinkled.

Content: Cotton
Transparency: Slightly sheer, not completely opaque - see garment photo (I am wearing a dark brown bra in the photo so you can see how transparent it is - not too bad with a skin tone bra).
Hand: Light-weight, dry hand, crinkly after washing, nice drape.
We suggest: Remy Raglan, Romey Gathered Top or Dress with a slip or layer underneath. Curtains would be beautiful!
Care Instructions: Machine wash on warm or cold with other whites. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry to prevent shrinkage and degradation.
Note: Natural fiber fabrics usually fade and wear after use. This can sometimes lend a welcome worn-in or vintage appeal, however, if that isn't the look you are going for and you want to keep the integrity of the original colors and/finish, we suggest hand washing your fabric or garment in cold water and line drying. Always pretreat your fabric in the same manner that you intend for your finished garment.
